Overview
Near a bank in downtown Santa Elena, the Monteverde Orchid Garden houses 450+ orchid species, including some of the world's smallest at just 1mm across. A roughly 300m accessible trail comes with a 25-45 minute guided walk covering wild orchids, hybrids, and home care tips. About 120 species bloom on any given day, so each visit looks a little different.
