Overview
Skywalk is a series of hanging bridges and trails set at canopy height in the Monteverde rainforest, letting you walk through the treetops. The 3km route includes six bridges reaching up to 40m above the forest floor, offering close-up views of the rainforest's layered structure. Spotting birds, monkeys, and sloths from canopy level is a completely different experience from ground-level hiking - a naturalist guide makes it even richer.

Mornings offer the best wildlife sightings. If you're afraid of heights, start with the shorter bridges. Booking a guided tour dramatically improves your chances of seeing animals.
