Overview
Brewing since 1560, the Eggenberg Brewery is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. A guided tour walks you through the traditional brewing process, and afterward you can sample freshly tapped, unfiltered beer in the adjoining beer garden. Flagship brews include the light lager (Světlý ležák) and dark lager (Tmavý ležák), with the unfiltered tank beer available only on-site being the real highlight. Tour about CZK 150 (includes tasting). 5-minute walk from the Old Town square.
