Overview
Located in the cellars beneath the Old Town Hall at Náměstí Svornosti 1, this roughly 400-square-meter exhibition displays about 100 torture instruments and period engravings. Life-sized wax figures bring the era's brutal judicial history to life, and two set-piece scenes — a witch burning and an execution by sword — add sound and lighting effects for extra immersion. It's a grim subject, but offers a unique window into medieval European justice; consider your children's age before bringing them along. Admission about CZK 200-250. Located right on the Old Town square.
