Overview
Completed in 1986, the Lotus Temple is a Baha'i house of worship designed to resemble a lotus flower, with 27 marble petals forming a stunning modern structure. Designed by architect Fariborz Sahba, it has won numerous architecture awards and seats 2,500 people in its meditative interior. The Baha'i faith embraces all religions, so anyone may enter for prayer and meditation regardless of belief. Free admission. 10-minute walk from Kalkaji Mandir Station (Metro Violet Line).
