Overview
Fish Head (officially Mushimasmingili Thila) is one of the Maldives' most celebrated dive sites, known for a resident population of grey reef sharks circling a submerged coral pinnacle (thila) in South Ari Atoll. Coral gardens, dramatic drop-offs, and abundant large marine life make it a bucket-list site for Maldives diving enthusiasts. It sits a fair distance from Maafushi and is usually run as an overnight liveaboard or a long-range speedboat day trip rather than a standard day tour. Tour about USD 150-220. Book through Maafushi dive centers (seasonal availability).
