Overview
Maafushi's main beach runs about 500 m along the island's east coast and is where local Muslim residents spend time with their families. Unlike Bikini Beach, swimwear is restricted here — visitors typically walk fully clothed or dip their feet. Benches under palm shade are great for reading or watching sunset, and Sunday evenings buzz with families. Free admission. Opposite Bikini Beach, a 10-minute walk.
