Transport
About 1 hour 20 minutes by domestic flight from Istanbul to either Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport. Shuttle buses from the airport to Goreme take about 1 hour. Prepaid SIMs are available in Göreme (Turkcell, etc., about TRY 200). Hotels and tourist facilities accept cards, but small shops and stalls need cash. Tipping 5-10% at restaurants is standard.
