Overview
Hidden in a southern jungle valley, these two-tier falls are reached by a cable car that glides over the gorge — half the fun of the visit. Mist rises at the upper fall's viewing deck, swimming is allowed in season at the plunge pool, and the park recreates the cave where Sergeant Yokoi hid for 28 years after the war ended without him. Fullest and finest just after the rainy season, with a modest amusement area and lookout tower thrown in.
