Overview
Rising to 1,249 metres, Jebel Hafeet is the highest peak in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, located about 15 km southwest of central Al Ain. A well-engineered mountain road of roughly 11-12 km leads up to a viewpoint near the summit, accessible by regular car and completely free of charge, with no entrance fee or toll. From downtown Abu Dhabi, the drive takes about 1 hour 45 minutes via the E22 and E95 highways.
