Overview
Opened in 2017, the Louvre Abu Dhabi was born from a 30-year agreement with the Louvre in Paris. Designed by Jean Nouvel, its 180m-diameter dome creates a magical 'Rain of Light' effect. The collection spans ancient to contemporary global art and includes works by Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, and Manet. Admission AED 63 (adult). About 25 minutes by taxi from the city center.

Travel Tips
Saturdays are very crowded, so weekday visits are recommended. The building itself is a work of art, so don't miss a walk around the exterior.
