Overview
Arenal Hanging Bridges (Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park) is a 3.1km trail through the rainforest canopy around Arenal Volcano, with 15 bridges — six of them hanging — that put you at treetop level. Look for toucans, howler monkeys, sloths, and hundreds of tropical bird species; a guide dramatically increases your chances. On clear days, the bridges offer magnificent views of Arenal Volcano.

Travel Tips
The dawn guided tour (06:00) offers the best wildlife sightings. Bring binoculars and a camera. Pack rain gear just in case.
