Aarhus

Central Denmark

Aarhus

오르후스

Denmark's second city, a cultural hub celebrated for the ARoS art museum and its Viking heritage. The immersive Rainbow Panorama, the time-travel experience of Den Gamle By, and medieval frescoes at Aarhus Cathedral deliver rich cultural encounters. Smaller and more relaxed than Copenhagen, it offers a genuine taste of everyday Danish life with the youthful energy of a university town.

Best Season

May-September is ideal. The Aarhus Festival Week in September brings a wide range of cultural events.

Budget

Daily budget around 150,000-280,000 KRW (accommodation 80,000-150,000, meals 40,000-70,000, transport and entry 30,000-50,000).

Transport

About 3 hours by DSB train from Copenhagen. Get around the city by bus and the Letbanen light rail, or simply on foot. Prepaid SIMs are available at the airport (Lebara, Lycamobile, etc., about DKK 80-150/EUR 11-20 per week). Denmark is nearly cashless — card and mobile payments are the norm. Service is included in restaurant bills; tipping is optional.

Visa

Korean passport holders can enter visa-free for up to 90 days under the Schengen Agreement.

Safety

A very safe city - standard care of your belongings is enough.
