Overview
Reopened in 2014, this archaeological and ethnographic museum is housed in a striking Henning Larsen-designed building with a massive grass-covered roof. The sloping grass roof is open to the public — climb it for sweeping views of Aarhus Bay. Highlights include the remarkably preserved 2,200-year-old Grauballe Man bog body, Viking-era artifacts, and immersive interactive exhibits. Admission about DKK 170. About 30 minutes by bus 18 from city center.
