Overview
Opened in 1831, Dublin Zoo is the world's third-oldest zoo, spread across 28 hectares within Phoenix Park. Themed habitats such as the African Savanna and Asian rainforest host over 400 species, and the zoo is especially known for its lion breeding program. It's a family favorite and pairs naturally with a Phoenix Park visit. Admission about EUR 22-26. About 15 minutes by bus connection from Luas Red Line Heuston.
