Founded in 1592 by Elizabeth I, Trinity College is Ireland's most prestigious university, with a 40-acre campus in the heart of Dublin. The Old Library's Long Room - 65 m long and lined with 200,000 antique books - inspired the Jedi Archives in Star Wars. The 9th-century Book of Kells is considered the world's most exquisite medieval manuscript, with jewel-like illuminations.
