Overview
Built in the late 12th century by Jayavarman VII, Ta Som is a small Buddhist temple located just east of Neak Pean. Though modest in scale, its eastern gate tower completely engulfed by a giant strangler fig root recalls Ta Prohm and is a favorite among photographers. With fewer crowds, it's a hidden gem for a relaxed visit. Accessible with the Angkor Pass. A 5-minute walk from Neak Pean.
