Meaning 'royal bathing pond,' Srah Srang is a large reservoir first built in the 10th century and refurbished with sandstone steps and a terrace under Jayavarman VII in the 12th century. Located directly across from Banteay Kdei temple, its calm waters at sunrise make it one of Angkor's most beautiful (and less crowded) sunrise spots after Angkor Wat itself.
