Overview
At 23m tall, Jeongbang is known as Asia's only waterfall that plunges directly into the sea, and thanks to its walkable access from central Seogwipo, it draws the most visitors of Jeju's three great falls. The contrast between the black basalt cliffs and blue sea in front of the falls is striking, and legend has it that Xu Fu, envoy of China's Qin Shi Huang, once visited here, making the nearby Seobuk-gwaji Park a fitting pair. Admission KRW 2,000. A 15-minute walk from central Seogwipo.
