From the top you can take in the full sweep of the capital, with views extending to distant Andean peaks on clear days. Restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops cluster at the summit, and a pilgrimage trail offers a walking option. By night, the illuminated church becomes a striking backdrop to Bogotá's skyline.
