Overview
Quinta de Bolívar was Simón Bolívar's residence during his stays in Bogotá, set within a quiet garden at the base of Monserrate. His sword, trunk, and furniture are preserved much as they were, alongside grounds landscaped in the colonial Spanish style. Admission costs around COP 4,000, with free entry every Wednesday from 15:00-17:00 and on the last Sunday of each month. It's roughly a 30-minute walk from Plaza de Bolívar, or take the TransMilenio to Las Aguas station and climb the hill from there.
