Overview
Parque Arví is a 1,600-hectare nature reserve in the mountains east of Medellín, reachable in about 15 minutes by MetroCable Line L. Dense tropical Andean forest is crisscrossed by hiking trails, and pre-Columbian archaeological sites dot the park. The weekend farmers' market (Mercado Arví) sells local produce, handicrafts, and traditional food. A perfect escape from the city bustle.
