Overview
After John Lennon's death in 1980, Prague citizens began painting tributes and Beatles lyrics on this wall, turning it into a symbol of resistance against the communist regime. Authorities whitewashed it many times, only for graffiti to reappear overnight. Today visitors from around the world still leave messages of peace and love, making it a living, ever-changing artwork. Tucked in a quiet Malá Strana lane near the Franz Kafka Museum. Free and open. 7-minute walk from Metro Malostranská (Line A).
