Overview
Built between 1711 and 1755, this is considered one of Central Europe's finest Baroque buildings, designed by Kryštof and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer along with Jan Santini. The 70m-high dome ceiling bears Jan Lukáš Kracker's fresco "Celebration of the Holy Trinity," one of the largest frescoes in Europe. The pipe organ inside is said to have been played by Mozart himself, and evening classical concerts are still held regularly. Standing at the center of Malostranské náměstí, it's a natural stop between Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Details may change, so check before visiting.
