Opened in 1978, the Busan Museum traces the city's history chronologically from prehistoric artifacts through the Gaya and Joseon periods, the Japanese colonial era, and the Korean War. Located right next to the UN Memorial Cemetery, it pairs well as a modern-history route, and it holds a rich collection of artifacts related to Busan's distinctive maritime culture. Free admission. A 10-minute walk from Daeyeon Station (Line 2).
