Overview
Haeundae is Korea's most famous beach, with about 1.5km of white sand and shallow waters. Millions visit each summer, and during the Busan International Film Festival the area becomes the festival's main hub. Nearby attractions include Dalmaji Hill, Haeundae Traditional Market, and the Mipo coastal railway. Even in winter, crowds come for beachside walks and sunrise views. Free admission. A 10-minute walk from Haeundae Station (Line 2), Exit 5.

Travel Tips
Peak summer (July-August) gets very crowded - go early in the morning or on weekdays. Try a ride on the Haeundae Blueline Park beach train.
