Overview
Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond form a Silla royal annex palace and man-made pond, formerly known as Anapji. The restored pavilions mirrored in the water are beautiful by day, but after sunset the illuminated reflections make one of Gyeongju's most iconic scenes. Adult admission is around KRW 3,000, and hours run 09:00-22:00 (last entry 21:30), allowing late night viewing. It is close to Cheomseongdae and Daereungwon, ideal as an evening route.
