Overview
Khorfakkan Beach is located in the east-coast city of Khor Fakkan within the Emirate of Sharjah, about 137 km (roughly 1.5-2 hours by car) from Sharjah city. This 3-kilometer crescent-shaped beach offers fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, and kayaking, with free access. The recently redeveloped Khorfakkan Corniche features playgrounds, a skate park, food trucks, and a beach library, and the southern end holds the ruins of a Portuguese fort built in 1635.
