Overview
Cairns Botanic Gardens, formally known as Flecker Gardens, is a free public garden run by Cairns Regional Council featuring palm and tropical plant collections along with the Watkins Munro Martin Conservatory, with no admission fee. The gardens are open daily from 7:30am to 5:30pm (subject to weather). It's located on Collins Avenue in Edge Hill, about 4km north of central Cairns, roughly a 15-20 minute trip by city bus or car.
