Green Island is a unique coral cay island with tropical rainforest about 45 minutes by fast ferry from Cairns. Its shallow surrounding waters make snorkeling easy for beginners, and glass-bottom boat and semi-submarine tours are also available. A boardwalk winds through 6,000-year-old rainforest, and Marineland Melanesia features a crocodile show and marine exhibits. Full package (ferry + snorkel gear + glass-bottom boat) AUD 110.
