Overview
Doka Estate has been growing coffee since the 1940s under the Vargas family, and its processing mill—powered by a century-old English water mill—was designated an architectural heritage site in 2003. The tour walks visitors through the plantation, processing mill, and roasting room before ending with a tasting, lasting roughly 1 to 1.5 hours. The grounds also include a butterfly garden, bonsai and orchid garden, and a hydroponic greenhouse, giving non-coffee-lovers plenty to see too. Tours run about $22 per person ($10 for children 6-12), though prices may change, so check ahead.
