Overview
On the west bank of the Nile in Aswan, this traditional Nubian village is famous for houses painted bright blue, yellow, and pink. Visitors are welcomed warmly with traditional food and handmade crafts to browse, and some families even keep crocodiles to show to guests. Reaching the village by motorboat or felucca (the traditional sailboat) is itself a beautiful part of the experience.
