Built in 1916 in iron and glass, this historic Madrid market was extensively renovated in 2009 into a gourmet food hall showcasing the finest ingredients from across Spain. Around 30 stalls offer Andalusian jamón, Galician seafood, Cantabrian anchovies, La Mancha Manchego cheese, and a vast selection of wines and cava, all in bite-sized portions - sample wide-ranging Spanish cuisine in one place. Free entry; dishes EUR 3-15 per stall. 1-minute walk from the western corner of Plaza Mayor.
