Overview
This museum occupies the former villa and factory site of the Lumière brothers, who shot the world's first films here in 1895, including 'Arrival of a Train' and 'Workers Leaving the Lumière Factory.' Inside the Art Nouveau 'Château Lumière,' visitors can see early cinematograph equipment, photographs, and film-history artifacts. Next door, the Art Deco Lumière cinema still screens films today. Admission about EUR 8 for adults. Right in front of Metro Monplaisir-Lumière (Line D).
