Overview

On the west slope of Senagajima, a bridge-linked islet off Naha Airport's runway, some 40 whitewashed Mediterranean-style units terrace down the hill — cafés, burgers, taco rice and craft shops, every level facing the East China Sea sunset. Jets rising and descending overhead complete the photo op. It's the ideal final stop before a flight, and the island's natural hot spring makes a half-day wind-down easy.
