Overview
Built in 1961 by celebrated Cambodian architect Vann Molyvann, the Chaktomuk Conference Hall is a fan-shaped theater considered a masterpiece of New Khmer Architecture. Located along the riverfront, its design uses natural ventilation drawing on cool river breezes, and it's still used today for government events and performances. Even viewing the exterior offers a taste of Cambodia's modern architectural heritage. Free to view (exterior; interior access during events). A 10-minute walk from the Riverside.
