Overview
Russian Market (officially Psar Toul Tom Poung) got its name in the 1980s from the Soviet diplomats who frequented it. It's Phnom Penh's iconic traditional market where you can find Khmer silk, silverware, antiques, Cambodian designer clothing and bags, plus fresh fruit and street food. The narrow lanes and maze-like layout are part of the charm, and you can stop at stalls for a Cambodian breakfast. Free admission. In south Phnom Penh, about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk from the Royal Palace.
