Overview
MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) is the world's largest underwater sculpture museum, installed 4-8m below the surface between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Around 500 works by British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor sit submerged, designed in pH-neutral concrete to encourage coral growth - gradually becoming a living artificial reef. The piece 'The Silent Evolution' features figures modeled on real Mexican residents, now entwined with coral. View by snorkel or dive. Snorkel tour $50-80, dive tour $80-150. Depart from Cancun or Isla Mujeres.
