Overview
Opened in 1973 next to BMW headquarters, the museum displays about 125 vehicles — cars, motorcycles, and aircraft engines — tracing the company from its 1916 founding to the present. Together with the 'Four-Cylinder' headquarters tower, it's a Munich modern-architecture icon. Across the road, BMW Welt is the brand's car delivery center and showroom, where you can see the latest BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce models for free and even request a test drive. Museum admission about EUR 12. 3-minute walk from U-Bahn Olympiazentrum (Line 3).
Opening Hours
Museum 10:00-18:00 (closed Mondays); BMW Welt 07:30-24:00
