Overview
Gaudí remodeled this Modernista residence between 1904 and 1906 in a style so organic that the facade resembles dragon scales coated with mosaic tiles - hence the nickname 'House of the Dragon.' It evokes Catalonia's patron Saint George slaying the dragon, with a cross-topped chimney representing the saint's lance piercing the beast's back. Inside, there's barely a straight line: a luminous blue central light well sweeps upward, and turtle-shell skylights illuminate the roof. From the rooftop you can spot Sagrada Familia. Admission about EUR 35 (includes AR guide). 2-minute walk from Metro Passeig de Gràcia (Lines 2/3/4).
