Overview
Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and built between 1901 and 1930, this complex features a unique layout of multiple pavilions connected by gardens, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 alongside Palau de la Música Catalana. The hospital's medical functions have since moved to a new adjacent building, and the historic site is now open as a museum and exhibition space. It's accessible on foot from Sant Pau/Dos de Maig station (Metro L5, blue line), and a 15-minute walk from Sagrada Familia.
