Overview
A vast urban park on Debrecen's north side, the 'Great Forest' is thickly wooded with oak trees. Inside you'll find the Aquaticum Mediterranean thermal spa (a modern water park and thermal bath), Debrecen Zoo, an amusement park, and a botanical garden — great for families. Well-maintained walking and cycling paths wind through the woods, and seasonal outdoor events fill the calendar. The University of Debrecen campus sits nearby.
