Overview
Built in the 13th-14th centuries, this Dominican basilica features an elaborate Renaissance marble facade designed by Alberti. Inside are pioneering works of perspective such as Masaccio's Holy Trinity and a fresco cycle by Ghirlandaio. The adjoining Green Cloister and Spanish Chapel are also worth seeing. Admission about EUR 7.50. Located directly in front of Santa Maria Novella (SMN) central station for easy access.
