Overview
Built in 1906 for Sultan Muhammad Shamsuddin III, Muleeaage now serves as the official residence of the President of the Maldives. Its colonial-style architecture with white walls and tropical gardens is distinctive, and its location right next to Republic Square makes the exterior easy to admire. The interior isn't open to visitors, but tourists commonly pose for photos near the guarded front gate. Free exterior viewing. Near Republic Square.
