Overview
Grouse Mountain rises 1,231m above North Vancouver and is known as the 'Peak of Vancouver.' The 4-person Skyride gondola whisks you to the summit in 8 minutes, where panoramic views span Vancouver, the Pacific, and even into the US. Summer brings hiking, ziplining, and paragliding; winter brings skiing and snowboarding. The Grizzly Bear Refuge at the top is home to rescued grizzlies Coola and Grinder, and naturalist-led wildlife encounters are a hit. Skyride round trip CA$74. About 25 minutes by car from downtown.
