Overview
Located at Spiegelgasse 1, Cabaret Voltaire is the historic site where Hugo Ball, Emmy Hennings, Marcel Janco, Tristan Tzara, and others founded the Dada movement in 1916. It now operates as a museum, bar, and cultural venue with a Dada library and rotating exhibitions. Admission to the Vaulted Cellar exhibition is about CHF 8 (CHF 5 reduced); bar visits are separate. Located in Niederdorf, about 10-12 minutes' walk from the main station; the nearest tram stop is Central.
