Overview
Affiliated with Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), this museum holds over 500,000 objects spanning graphic and industrial design, posters, and applied arts. It spreads across two sites — the Toni-Areal campus (a converted dairy factory in Zurich-West) and a Swiss modernist building on Ausstellungsstrasse. Admission is roughly CHF 15 (CHF 10 reduced) per site, free for under-20s, and free after 17:00 on Thursdays (subject to change, please verify before visiting). About 12 minutes' walk from Hardbrücke station, or 4 minutes by S-Bahn from the main station.
