Overview
Founded in 853 as a Benedictine abbey church, Fraumünster sits on Münsterhof square on the west bank of the Limmat. Its highlight is a set of five stained-glass windows created by Marc Chagall in 1970 (chancel and south transept), alongside windows by Augusto Giacometti in the north transept.
