Overview
The Oceanario (CEINER, a research, education, and recreation center) is a marine conservation facility on San Martín de Pajarales island within the Corales del Rosario y San Bernardo National Park, operating since 1979. It houses around 1,400 animals from over 140 Caribbean marine species, with dolphin and shark shows and coral reef exhibits. It cannot be reached directly from Cartagena - visitors typically join a Rosario Islands tour with a 1-2 hour speedboat ride from the Muelle de la Bodeguita dock. Admission is paid separately on-site, typically COP 30,000-38,000 for adults.
