Overview
Chini Ka Rauza is the mausoleum of Allama Afzal Khan, a Persian scholar and minister to Shah Jahan, built around 1635. It is one of the few Mughal monuments decorated entirely in Persian-style glazed tiles (chini), though much of its once-vivid turquoise and gold tilework has eroded over centuries. Located on the Yamuna riverbank, it pairs well with a Taj Mahal visit. Entry is low-cost.
